Mitchell Andrew Hartsell

Mitchell Andrew Hartsell, 48, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023, at his home.

Mitchell was born September 22, 1974, in North Carolina to Purlie Lee Osborne Hartsell and the late Bennie Andrew Hartsell.
He was also preceded in death by sister, Sandra McLendon.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, Monday, July 31, 2023, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 2:00pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Dr. Kinney Wallace. Burial will follow at the First Baptist Cemetery at 320 South Central Ave., Locust.

Survivors include mother, Purlie Osborne Hartsell of Mount Pleasant, NC; uncle and aunt, Wayne and Barbara Barnhardt of Locust, NC; and aunt, Vernie Dabbs.

Mitchell was a very patient and understanding young man. He respected and loved his mother and older people. He had a lot of patience with his job and whatever he had to do. Mitchell would talk to people and really understand what they were going through. He was a Mama's boy and most of all he will always be dearly loved by his mother and always be her baby boy.
