Mitchell Lowery

Mitchell (Mitch) Wilson Lowery, 63, unexpectedly passed away at his home in Stanfield, North Carolina on Monday, June 8, 2020.

Mitch was born January 10, 1957 in Pageland, South Carolina to Ruth Tracy and the late Wilson Lowery .

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilson Lowery; brother, Wendell Lowery; and his step-father, Jerry Tracy.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Karen Lowery; mother, Ruth Tracy; son, Jason (Ashley) Lowery; grandson, Austin Lowery; stepdaughter, Joy McManus; sisters, Shelby Satterfield, Patti Hartis, and Brenda (Todd) Worley; brother, Randy (Doris) Lowery; two nieces and one nephew.

There will be a service to celebrate Mitch’s life at 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Hartsell Funeral Home, 13575 Broadway Avenue, Midland officiated by Rev. Jesse Herring of Red Cross Baptist Church, Oakboro, North Carolina.

Mitch will be sorely missed.  He was a good husband.  He liked working outside, mowing the yard, and keeping it looking nice.  He liked watching Westerns on TV and watching movies and he liked Country music. He was always available to help anyone if they asked him.
