Myrtie Bost

Mrs. Ruth Kluttz Bost, 77, of 5932 Kluttz Road, Concord, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at CMC-NorthEast. A memorial service will be held at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Concord on Saturday at 2 pm with the Rev. Joseph A. Miller officiating. A visitation will be held in the fellowship hall at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church following the service. Born on March 8, 1933 in Cabarrus County to the late Walter Kluttz and Mabel Haigler Kluttz. Ruth was married to her dear husband Paul on June 11, 1949. Her lifes work and mission was the care of her husband and family. She cared for several grandchildren and great-grandchildren over the years. She was a member of The Cross of Christ Lutheran Church. The family wishes to express a special thank you for their loving care and support during her illness to the staff in ACCU at CMC-NorthEast, Dr. Medhat Takla, Dr. Ron Pollack, and the physicians at Central Carolina Nephrology. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 61 years, Paul A. Bost of the home, sons, Dr. Archie Lee Bost and wife Kay of Raleigh, Rev. Dale Bost and wife Hannah of Salisbury, Melvin Alton Bost of Concord, daughter, Linda B. Horton and husband Roger of Mt. Pleasant, brother, Robert Kluttz of Matthews, sister, Janie Porter of Trenton, GA, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, two sisters, and a granddaughter.
