Myrtle Ridenhour

Myrtle Efird Ridenhour, 84, of Salisbury, NC passed away on July 20, 2011 at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, July 22, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The service will be held a t 2 PM on Saturday, July 23 at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Richfield Cemetery. Rev. Ruth Ann Sipe will officiate. Ms. Ridenhour was born in Anson County, NC on July 7, 1927 to the late Arlie and Eddie Mae Efird. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard “Blondie” L. Ridenhour. Ms. Ridenhour is survived by her son, Rev. David Efird Ridenhour of Salisbury; sister, Mayme Pinion of Norwood; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 111 W.
