Myrtle Threatt

Myrtle Threatt, 89 of Wingate, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Hospice House of Union County in Monroe. Mrs. Threatt was born September 3, 1924 in Chesterfield, South Carolina to the late John Deese and Bessie Alma Threatt Deese . In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Eustace Blair Threatt, and son, Kenneth Threatt. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 5, 2013, from 1:00-2:00, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church at 7723 Pageland Hwy. in Monroe. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the church. Survivors include sons, Ray Threatt of Patrick, SC, Orville Threatt of Wingate, and Ernest Threatt of Wingate; daughters, Kathryn T. Fuss of Monroe, and Betty T. Maske of Wingate; and sister, Zelma Oliver of Pageland, SC. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 West Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
