Nancy Lambert

Nancy Brannen Lambert, 73, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Mrs. Lambert was born March 13, 1948 in Mt. Holly, North Carolina to the late Elbert Alexander Warren and the late Dorothy Louise Warren.

She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Kaylee Elizabeth Goodman.

A dual memorial service for both Nancy and her beloved husband, Larry, will be on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, 460 Branchview Road. Survivors include daughter, Teresa Lambert Poore (Lamar) of Harmony, NC; son, Larry Richard “Ricky” Lambert, Jr., of Concord, NC; daughter, Tina Lambert Parris (Todd) of Newton, NC; grandchildren Kelsi Bova (Daniel), Lacey Poore, Hayden Poore, Skylar Poore, Ashley Peterson, Joshua Lambert, Kristen Crane (Jay); great-grandchildren Akele, Nolan, and Knight; sisters Trish Smith (Don), Darlene Brotherton (Kenny), Audrey Pennell (Darrell “Tootie”), Mary Neilson (David); many dear nieces and nephews; and their beloved dog, Nike.

Nancy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was always welcoming to her family and a gracious host to all. She had many wonderful neighbors that she cared for and was loved by.

Nancy was strong-willed, opinionated, had a flamboyant fashion sense, fancied anything that sparkled, and loved tending to her flowers. She was an active member of her church, and enjoyed going to the gym with her husband, Larry. Nancy was a firm believer in the Lord and loved Him dearly; she would use every opportunity to proclaim Jesus.

Nancy and Larry were happily married for 58 years, and passed away only six hours apart, Larry having held Nancy’s hand in her last moments.
