Nancy Hooks

Nancy Louise Noles Hooks, 73 years of age, of Charlotte, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at her home. Nancy was born September 26, 1939 in Cabarrus County to the late Willie Morris Noles and Margaret Louise Scercy Noles. She was also preceded in death by husband, Joe Henry Hooks, in 2008. She is survived by her son, Michael Hooks and wife Amanda of Charlotte; her daughters, Jan Hargett and husband Jimmy of Concord, and Carol Brown and husband Gary of Gold Hill; grandchildren, Kelly, Andrew, Chris, Heather, Jon, Christopher, and Jacob; great grandchildren, Breana, Sky, Desaray, and Danny; brothers, RS Noles and wife Beatrice of Concord, Larry Noles and wife Shelby of Virginia; sister, Linda Yates of Concord, and her special pet, Scooter. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Monday, July 29, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Buck Canup and Rev. Ronnie Simpson officiating. Burial will be at the Harrisburg Baptist Church Cemetery. At other times, the family will be meeting at her home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her daughter-in-law for her caring assistance.
