Nancy Walko

Nancy Louise Belsick Walko, 62, of 250 Marine Street, Belle Vernon, PA, died August 26, 2009, surrounded by family in Davidson. Mrs. Walko was born April 7, 1947. She was a librarian aide and homemaker. She enjoyed reading, knitting, quilting, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, George Henry Belsick, and her mother, Anna Trenk Belsick. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Walko of Belle Vernon, PA; son, Michael and wife, Shannon Walko of Concord; daughter, Melissa and husband, Bryan Porter of Davidson; granddaughter, Carly Walko of Concord; brother, Larry Belsick of Belle Vernon, PA; and sister, Judy Walko of Uniontown, PA. There was a private service held on Friday at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel with Father Francis Ezanikatt C.Ss.R. officiating. A celebration of her life will be held in Belle Vernon, PA at a later date.
