Nancye Falls

Nancye Layne Falls, 65, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019.

Nancye was born June 5, 1954 in Danville, Virginia, to the late Charles and Mary Layne.  She was also preceded in death by beloved husband, Jerry Falls.

Nancye enjoyed shopping and trying new restaurants.  She also liked coloring and rainy days.  Nancye loved traveling with friends and family.   She had an affection for all animals, and treated her own pets like children.  Most of all, Nancye's passion was spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Nancye's memory include daughter, Heather Poer and husband, Jason Kendall, of Concord; grandchildren, Carson & Stella Kendall; sister, Cindy Chu and husband, Paul, of Holden; nephew, Adam Chu; and niece, Molly Chu.

A memorial service in celebration of Nancye's life will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home's Chapel, Concord, officiated by Rev. Don Burleyson.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
