Nannie Springer

Nannie Odessa Springer, 94 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle.
Mrs. Springer was born August 5, 1923to the late Ervin McRee and Dealie Gudger. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Jack Springer; son, Tony Springer; grandson, Timmy Springer; six sisters and three brothers. Nannie loved to garden in her spare time but she was most known for being a devoted mother and grandmother to her family.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Friday, November 17, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle, officiated by Pastor Landon Keziah.
Survivors include:son, Larry Springer; daughter, Debra Springer; daughter, Lisa Huneycutt, and husband Jeff; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
