Nanolyne Barrier

Nanolyne Austin Barrier, 92 years of age, of New London, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.

Nanolyne was born May 15, 1923 in Richfield N.C. to the late Robert Lee Austin and Ida Lee Miller Austin. She was also preceded in death by husband, Clarence Harding "Shorty" Barrier, four half-sisters, Lottie Hudson, Juanita Gerock, Jessie Culp and Ethel Coggins, brother, Robert Lee Austin, Jr., half-brothers, Sheldon C. Austin and Lyman D. Austin.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Richfield United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow in the church at 11:00 am, officiated by Rev. Christopher Burcham. Burial will follow at the Richfield Cemetery at Depot Street, Richfield.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald C. "Ron" Barrier of Concord and Randy Barrier of Mocksville, two daughters, Carol Barrier of San Diego, CA and Susan Russell of New London, Six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren

Nanolyne was a member of Richfield United Methodist Church, was an avid reader and loved her dogs.

The family will be at the granddaughters home 34990 Oak Hill Drive in Albemarle
