Nathan Holt, Jr.

Mr. Nathan Sylvester Holt, Jr. passed away on January 31, 2020 at the VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC., he was 74 years old.

He was born in Stanly County,  on January 21, 1946, to the late Nathan Holt, Sr. and Rachel McDowell, also preceded in death by two brothers,
Larry Gerald Holt and Randy Hal Holt and a daughter Amber Holt Blalock

Mr. Holt was a Veteran in the  United States Army, receiving many awards.. including Vietnam Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal, and Purple Heart.

He is survived by a daughter, Tammy Holt Provost, of the home, and four grandchildren, Jasmine Provost, Laydyn Provost,
Gage Blalock and Noah Carter.

He enjoyed woodworking, was an avid fisherman, and spending time with family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 07, 2020, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM , at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle.
