Nellie Coble

Nellie Juanita Shue Coble, 82 years of age, of Concord, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.

Nellie was born May 26, 1933 in Cabarrus County to the late Matthew Monroe Shue and Mary Thornbury Shue. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John Max Coble, Sr. in 2009; son, John Max Coble, Jr.; and brother, James Monroe Shue.

The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 1 pm on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 1 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will be at the Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum in Kannapolis. At other times the family will be gathering at the home.

She is survived by her daughter, Tine Maxine Hagler of Concord; son, Ronald Lee Coble and wife Debbie of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, Bobby Franklin Shue and wife Naomi of Kannapolis, and Jack Ray Shue and wife Linda of California; sister, Ruth Elizabeth Mullis and husband James of Concord; six grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Nellie retired from Northeast Medical Center as an environmental technician.
