Nicholas Norman

Nick Norman, 18, of Concord, NC passed away suddenly and peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.

Nick was born January 2, 2000 in Greensboro, NC to Donald Norman and Virginia "Ginger" Peel.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Betty and Dennis Peel; his brother Connor Volz; as well as his paternal grandfather Marvin Norman.

Nick was that one annoying kid that everyone loved. He could be the world’s biggest meanie and the universe’s biggest sweetheart all within 5 minutes. Nicholas loved to fish and hunt… but he really loved to over exaggerate the story of his great feats afterwards. Anyone who knew Nicholas, knows that he was very charismatic and charming. He was the son or brother some never knew they wanted, but then fell in love with. He hated school with a passion (Sorry to all the teachers! Don’t take it personally.) but loved his fellow students. Friends were a huge part of his life and there are a ton of you. Nick will be truly missed.

Survivors include his father, Donald Norman and wife Tamara of Concord, NC; his mother, Virginia "Ginger" Peel of Seven Springs, NC; sister Amanda Norman; brothers Christopher Norman and Brendan Volz; nephew Sterling Bricker-Volz; and grandmother Jane Norman.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The memorial service will be on Sunday at 2:00 pm at Westford United Methodist Church in Concord officiated by Rev. Jeffrey Rushing.
