Noel Lambert

Noel Huneycutt Lambert, 87 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Woodhaven Court in Albemarle. Noel was born October 2, 1925 in Stanly County to the late Theodore Franklin Huneycutt, Sr. and the late Minnie Huneycutt. She was also preceded in death by husbands, Joel E. Tucker, Sr. and Hubert Lambert; sisters, Sybil Love, Sue Butler and Rachel Cannon; and one brother, Ross Huneycutt. A graveside service will be on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Indian Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Gene Hopkins and Rev. Rick Brundin. Immediately following the service, the family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall. She is survived by her son, Joel Tucker and wife, Marie of Oakboro; daughter, Nancy Furr and husband, "Runt" of New London; step daughter, Carrie McLester and husband, Joe of Stanfield; step son, Jerry Lambert of Atlanta, GA; brother, Theodore Franklin Huneycutt, Jr.; sister, June Morgan of Stanfield; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
