Norma Linker

Norma Jean Linker, 67 years of age, of Midland, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Carolina's Medical Center-Northeast in Concord. Norma was born October 27, 1946 in Concord North Carolina to the late James Everett and Vera Louise Broome Layton. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Rena Linker and her brother, James (Jimmy) Eugene Layton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, June 6, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Johnny Canup. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Hwy. 29N, Kannapolis. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Ralph Linker; three sons, Jerry Wayne Linker of Midland, David Linker and Steven Linker both of Concord; one brother, Vince Layton of Kannapolis; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was a homemaker and loved her family and grandchildren very much and also her little dog Toby. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Linker family.
