Norma Medlin

Norma Jean Medlin, 50 years of age, of Midland, passed away after an extended illness on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord.

Norma Jean Medlin was born November 19, 1966 in North Carolina to the late James T. Medlin and Dianne Canupp. Norma was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry W. Linker of Midland, and her two loving sons, Justin and Jimmy, both of Midland. She is also survived by her loving and caring mother, Dianne (Corzine) Canupp of Concord; two sisters, Lisa (Rev. Robert) Tallent of Concord, and Loretta (David) Losey of Kannapolis; two brothers, Robert Medlin and Jamie (Tonya) Medlin both of Concord; and other survivors that include many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at the Gethsemane Baptist Church, 480 Lloyd Garmon Lane Concord, NC, (704-796-8009) on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert D. Tallent and Rev. John "Buck" Canupp officiating. Private burial services will be at a later date.

Norma Jean will be missed by her loving family and many friends. May God grant her eternal rest.
