Norma Jean Mellott Breedlove

Norma Jean Breedlove, 87, of Harrisburg, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord, NC.

Norma was born January 17, 1937 in Kempton, Maryland to the late Lorenzo James Mellott and the late Edith Edwina Mellott. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Keith Breedlove; and son, David Breedlove.

Survivors include her sister, Wanda Conley; son, Keith "Bud" Breedlove; son, Robert "Bob" Breedlove and wife Heather; son, Paul Breedlove and wife Rhonda; daughter, Paula Nash and husband Tommy Nash, Jr.; grandchildren, Andy, Monica, Stacy, Richard, Kara, David, Brandie, Bryan, Ashleigh, Cameron, Brittany, Brooke, Danielle, Krystal, Jason, David and John; as well as numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. 

Norma loved spending time with her family. She was an avid NASCAR fan and always pulled for Jeff Gordon and more recently Chase Elliott. Norma enjoyed her word search puzzles and watching tv. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

A private burial will take place at the Carolina Memorial Park Harrisburg.
