Norma Monteleone

Norma Jean Monteleone 80, of Harrisburg passed away peacefully at her home on May 19th. She was born August 9, 1932 in McDowell County, West Virginia. To greet her in Heaven were her husband Paul who passed away in 2003 and her son Steven who passed in 1994. She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Monteleone of Harrisburg, NC and Carole Capps of Rocky Point, NY, her son-in-law Greg Capps and three grandchildren Amanda, Chris and Aimee Capps. Norma met her late husband Paul while on active duty in the Navy. They lived a beautiful life on Long Island, raising their three children. Norma enjoyed a blessed retirement in Lake Monticello, VA. After Paul passed, Norma settled in Harrisburg, NC. In Harrisburg Norma enjoyed the rest of her life with her family and a large magnitude of endearing friends who surrounded her with love and strength of support until she passed. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Norma Jean will be held at Sharon Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 920 North Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte, NC 28211 on Wednesday afternoon, May 22nd.
