Norman Kostolansky

Mr. Norman Joseph Kostolansky, 70, of 113 Pine Street, Mt. Pleasant died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at CMC NorthEast. He was born on November 11, 1940 in Charleroi, PA to the late Louis and Enis Boni Kostolansky. Mr. Kostolansky was a member of St. James Catholic Church and a mechanical engineer with IBM for over 30 years. He was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates fan as well as a train enthusiast. Norman loved old time rock and roll. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church with Father Joseph Dionne officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home. He is survived by his wife, Judith B. Kostolansky, of the home; daughter, Patricia Rushing and husband, Darren, of Kannapolis; and brother, Louis Kostolansky and wife, Theresa, of Charleroi, PA.
