Octie Hall

Octie Ellen Foster Hall, 88 years of age and dedicated wife of Sergeant First Class, U. S. Army Retired, William Guy Hall, Jr. passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Carolinas Health Care System Northeast in Concord.
Mrs. Hall was born April 7, 1929 in Mecklenburg County to the late Lester Foster and Lois Whitlow Foster. She was also preceded in death by her son, William Guy Hall, III in October of 2005.
Ellen spent one tour of duty in Germany with her husband. They lived in Kassel and in Bremerhaven. She was a wonderful wife in many ways.
She is survived by her husband, William; her daughter, Melinda Williams; granddaughter, Stephanie Williams; grandsons, Joseph and Nathaniel Williams; brother, Bruce Foster; and sister, Barbara Jean Huneycutt.
The family will have a visitation for family and friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. Burial will be at the Salisbury National Cemetery.
