Olen Huneycutt

Olen Reece Huneycutt, 68, of Stanfield, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, September 8, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Huneycutt was born September 24, 1950 to the late Garett Reece and Dorothy Mae Morton Huneycutt. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Paul Alan Huneycutt and mother of his children, Susan Dian Griffin Huneycutt.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at 11:00 am, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland, officiated by Dr. Joel Stephens. Burial will follow at the Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Cemetery, 20415 Hwy. 24/27 West, Oakboro.

Olen is survived by wife, Patricia Huneycutt; son, David (Angela) Huneycutt; daughter, Cathy (Ray) Pressley; son, John (Bridget) Huneycutt; stepson, Jeremy (Breanna) Hall; stepdaughter, Catherine (Andrew) Johnson; grandchildren, Courtney Suhay, Kaela Baucom, Tyler Pressley, Darren Pressley, Daniel Huneycutt, Korena Hall, Sheldon Hall, Connor Johnson, Liam Johnson, Alex Johnson, Clarity Suhay, Corbin Hall, Lillia Suhay, Noah Hall, Emberly Suhay and Benjamin Suhay.
