Opal Webster

Opal Talbert Webster, 89 years of age, of Albemarle, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Webster was born April 9, 1925 in Stanly County to the late Elius B. Talbert and Mary Huneycutt Talbert. She was preceded in death by her husband William Eugene Webster. Opal along with her husband founded and owned The Trophy Shop in Albemarle.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Union Grove Baptist Church, 20514 NC Hwy 138, Albemarle from 12- 1 pm . The funeral service will follow at 1 pm, officiated by Rev. Jeremy Blake and Rev. Lee Church. The burial will be at Stanly Gardens of Memory, 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.
At other times the family will be meeting at Mrs. Webster's home.
She is survived by her children, Randy Webster and wife Dorrie of Albemarle; Mary Ann Springer and husband Skip of Albemarle; Richard Elius Webster and wife Lori of Richfield; Karen Webster Russell and husband Steve of Albemarle; and Shannon Webster Stepp and husband Bryan of Richfield; twenty grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
