Ora Leen Lilly Cagle, 93, of Midland, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, at her home.
Ora Leen was born September 16, 1928, in Randolph County to the late Orlando Morrison Lilly and the late Fanny Florence Tysinger Lilly. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Grady A. Cagle.
Ora Leen enjoyed reading her Bible and quoting verses. One of her favorite scriptures, "It rains on the just and the unjust" - Matthew 5:45. She loved all animals, especially cats. Ora Leen was a loving Moma, sister, and Ma Maw (Mawma). She will be forever loved and dearly missed.
Survivors include son, Grady L. Cagle of Monroe; son, Morrison "Billy" (Ann) Cagle of Wadesboro; daughter, Bonnie Cagle of Midland; son, Eddy (Donna Pinion) Cagle of Concord; sister, Mattie Ward of Asheboro; grandchildren, Christopher Fantetti, Tiffany (Darrell) Jenkins, Emily (Brandon) Musick, Lily Cagle, Tonya (Frank) Hartsell, Charity Lowder, Zan Johns, Shane Johns, Linda (Jerry) Bell, Jennifer Staton, Kerrie (Jim) Lowry, Mercedes Redman, and Cassie Redman; great-grandchildren, Hunter Hammill, Aubrey Jenkins, Derek Musick, one (Musick) on the way and 18 additional great-grandchildren; and nephews, Jimmy and Jesse Ward.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, May 23, 2022, in the funeral home chapel. Ora Leen will be laid to rest at 12:00 pm on Monday at Summerville Baptist Church Cemetery, 3134 Summerville Church Rd, Denton.
