Ora Smith

Ora Lee Smith, 95, of Oakboro, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Smith was born September 5, 1924 to the late Obie and Hettie Almond Helms. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Smith; one infant daughter;  brothers. Ray Helms, Norman Helms; sister, Lucille H. Mills.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:45 pm, on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Locust, 320 South Central Avenue. The funeral service will follow 3:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Dr. Kinney Wallace and Rev. Garry Baker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ora Lee is survived by her son, Dwight Smith and fiancée Tonya Jolly; niece, Jean Aycoth, as well as, many other numerous nieces and nephews.
