Otis Barringer

Otis Mae Poplin Barringer, age 88 of 22558 Tyler Rd, Gold HIll, NC 28071, passed away on March 14, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. She was born in Stanly County on April 16, 1921. Otis Mae Barringer was preceded in death by her husband-Roney Barringer in 1979, mother-Selma Morton Poplin and father-Jonah Poplin. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 07:00 PM 09:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. Funeral service will held on Wednesday,March 17, 2010 at 02:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel, 522 N. 2nd Albemarle NC. with the Rev. Harold Bumby officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Otis Mae Barringer was survived by her son Kenneth Elwood “Buck” Barringer of Gold Hill NC, grandchild-Daniel Todd Barringer of Gold Hill, Great-Grandchild-Shawn Tyler Barringer, brother-Edward Poplin of Albemarle and sister-Pauline Hopkins of New London.
