Pallie Taylor

Pallie "Ping" Bowers Taylor, 92 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center in Albemarle.
Mrs.Taylor was born June 8, 1923 in Stanly County to the late Elonzo Bowers and the late Essie Bowers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thea Taylor,; a son, Roger Taylor and a great granddaughter, Juleighann Sommerfeldt.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM , Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Hazel Taylor. The funeral service will be on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Danny Laws. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.
Survivors include son, Jim Taylor and wife Judy of Charlotte; daughter-in-law Hazel Taylor of Albemarle, five grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
