Pamela Little

August 8, 1953 — April 1, 2017

Pamela Morgan Little, 63, of Midland, lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer April 1, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC.

Pam was preceded in death by her mother, Avis Morgan, and leaves behind a loving and devoted daughter, Tai Little and husband, Thuy Thammavongsa; a son, Bart Tolson and wife, Edie; a sister, Trivia Morgan; a brother, Roger Morgan and wife, Libby; her wonderful father, Gilbert Morgan; grandchildren, Serenity Douglas, Patience Thammavongsa, Khamsone Thammavongsa, Kayla Tolson, Jeffery Forrest; niece, Ella Hamrick; and many devoted friends.

Born August 8, 1953 and raised in Cabarrus County, Pam relocated to Atlanta, where she received master training in dog grooming, winning many competitions and high honors for her hand scissoring technique. Pam’s love of animals led her to be a tireless volunteer for the Humane Society and an advocate for animal welfare. She was also a strong supporter of human rights and taught her family to love without boundaries and to speak-out against injustice. As a strong free spirit, Pam had a wanderlust and traveled the country taking us all on many adventures with Janis, Prince, and the Temptations as our car riding lullabies. Pam was unapologetically herself, and encouraged her family to be brave and experience life to the fullest. From Pam we have learned to be individuals and view life through Technicolor lenses.

We honor her courage, tenacity, and deep love this Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland, NC with receiving of friends and family from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with memorial service to follow in the chapel, and a celebration of her life at the family home following.

In lieu of flowers, supportive donations for others living with cancer may be made to Supportive Oncology Fund, c/o Carolinas Healthcare Foundation, 208 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28206.
