Pamela Mclester

Pamela Diana McLester, age 58 of 404 East 10th Street, Oakboro, NC passed away June 8, 2010 at her home. She was born May 24, 1952 in Cabarrus County, NC. She was a daughter of the late Jack Dempsey Sasser and Dean Sasser of Albemarle. Pamela was a graduate of West Stanly High School and furthered her education by taking courses at Stanly Community College and UNC-Charlotte. An avid lover of music and art, she was an accomplished pianist. If you knew Pamela you knew she loved her family. Her family meant everything to her. She had a wicked sense of humor and a great sense of style, most importantly she had a good heart. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Archie “Bill” McLester of the home; her children, Timothy Ryan McLester and wife Heidi of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter, Jennifer Carolyn McLester of Raleigh; sister, Teresa Maslowski and husband Jerry of Albemarle; brothers, Jeffery C. Sasser of Charlotte, James Bruce Sasser of Oakboro; one grandchild, the love of her life, Ava McLester of Cincinnati, Ohio. Visitation will be Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel, Rev. Steve Barbee officiating.
