Pamela Stephenson

Pamela Louise Emser Stephenson , 53 years of age, of York, SC passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Peidmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. Pamela was born October 15, 1959 in Charlotte, NC to the late Clarence Raymond Emser and the late Edra Claudine Hefner Emser . She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Kevin Emser. The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 2 pm on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home, 460 Branchview Dr. NE in Concord. The funeral service will be at 2 pm at the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, 4426 Central Ave., Charlotte. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, David Edward Stephenson of York, SC; daughters, Lacey Phifer of Rock Hill, SC, Heather Newton of Rock Hill, SC, and Brittany Stephenson of York, SC; grandchildren, Ivy Phifer, Blake Newton, Rilan Phifer, and Kaleb Newton; and sisters, Patty George of Raleigh, NC, Traci Poole and Cyndi Mastranunzio, both of Rockwell, NC. Pamela was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed the beach and searching for sharks teeth. She also loved to garden and work in her yard. Her most recent passion was for geology and collecting gemstones and minerals.
