Parker Bost

Parker William Bost, 90, of Concord, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at St. Andrews Living Center in Concord. Mr. Bost was born December 26, 1923 to the late Hugh "Bud" and Callie Bost. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Bost. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Rodney Quesenberry will be held at Broadus Baptist Church, 59 Green St. SW, Concord, NC 28027 on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. He is survived by a son, William Eugene Bost of Matthews; four grandchildren, Julie Bost, Shannon Johnson, Amber Bost and Elizabeth Bost; four great grandchildren, Skylar Bost, Jaylan Miller and Kayla Miller, and Lilly Bost; one sister, Billie Bost of Concord and one brother, Melvin Bost of Concord. Memorials may be made to Broadus Baptist Church, 59 Green St. SW, Concord, NC 28027. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Bost family.
