Patricia Barbee

Patricia "Pat" Ann Barbee, 75 years of age, of Locust, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System Main in Charlotte.

Pat was born February 3, 1942 in Illinois to the late Charles Eli and Hattie Porter Briggs. She was also preceded in death by husband, William "Wickie" Edward Barbee, Sr. in 1991.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:45 pm, Thursday, November 16, 2017 at First Assembly of God in Albemarle. The funeral service will follow in the church at 3:00 pm officiated by Pastor Bob Gruver.

Survivors include two daughters, Christine Barbee Pendleton and husband Todd of Little River, SC and Lisa Barbee Yow and husband David of Stanfield; two sons, William (Billy) Edward Barbee, Jr and wife Sandra of Rowland, NC and Jeffrey Michael Barbee and wife Tonya of Monroe; six grandchildren, Patricia Kathleen Lewis, Jesse Lewis and wife Suzanne, Phillip Barbee and wife Tara, Elisabeth Burkle and husband Jason, Rachel Tuggle and husband Justin, and Carl Yow; two step grandsons, Garret Pendleton and Spencer Berry; eleven great grandchildren, Elle Kathleen Lewis, Evie Lewis, Noah Barbee, Caleb Barbee, Hannah Barbee, Sophia Burkle, Emma Burkle, Wyatt Burkle, Logan Tuggle, Malayna Tuggle, and Paislee Tuggle; along with Shadow, her dog and loyal companion.

Pat retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She loved working in her flower gardens and took great pride in how they looked. Most of all, Pat loved life and adventure.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Assembly of God in Albemarle.
