Patricia Ann Bosworth

Patricia Ann Bosworth, 81, of Salisbury, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Accordius Health of Salisbury, NC.

Patricia was born on May 6, 1943, in Orange, New Jersey, to Daniel and Avitus Bosworth. She was preceded in death by her parents and her younger sister, Marilyn Rossi.

She is survived by her daughter, Avitus Itoe of Charlotte, NC, her son, David Itoe and his wife Emery of Concord, NC, and her grandchildren Isidore Jr., David, and Paul Itoe.

 She is also survived by her younger sisters, Betty Balunis of The Villages, FL, Renee Kozielec, and her brother, Daniel Bosworth, both of NJ. 

Patricia graduated from Dunellen High School and later earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in physical education from Montclair State University. Throughout her life, she held various roles, including diving instructor, teacher, and librarian, but her greatest joy was being a mother. She was known for her free spirit and kind heart, always willing to lend a hand or share words of encouragement. With a perpetual smile, she approached life with optimism, never holding grudges. Patricia had a deep love for life, cats, and reading Mother Earth magazines.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg, officiated by Deacon Joe Diaz. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Concord, located at Hwy. 29N at I-85, Exit 58, Concord.
