Patricia Burleson

Patricia Gail Thomason Burleson, age 72, of Albemarle, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013 at her home surounded by her loving family. The family will receive frends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The funral service, officiated by Rev. Les Lanier and Dr. Wayne Bennett, will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 4:00pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with a 30 minute state prior to the service. Burial will follow at the church cemetey. At other times, the family will meet at her daghters home, Kathy Teeter, 28462 Canton Rd., Albemarle, NC 28001. Mrs. Burlson was born on April 30, 1940, to the late Dewey tom Thomason and the late Nelle Mae Teeter Thomson. She is also preceded in death by a brother, JD Freeman. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James "Dober" Burleson; a son, Jerry Burleson of Albemarle; four daughters, Pam Burris and husband Mitchell of Locust, Kelly Morgan and husband Darrel of Stanfeld, Kathy Teeter of Albemarle, and Christy Morton of Albemarle; a brother, Michael Thomason of Charlotte; two sisters, Frances Bish of Albemarle, and Georgia Norton of Albemarle; ten grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
