Patricia Eudy

Patricia Ann Kelly Eudy, 78 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Pat was born December 4, 1935 in Buncombe County, NC and was raised in Old Fort, NC. She was the daughter of the late Locke William Kelly and the late Bertie Louise Robinson Kelly. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard and Jerry Kelly.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Monday at 1:00 pm at Canton Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Mark Mabry. She will lie in state for two hours prior to the service. The burial will follow at the church cemetery. At other times the family will be meeting at her home.

She is survived by her son, Joe Gibbs and wife Cemita of Albemarle; three grandchildren, Bailey, Ansley, and Sawyer Gibbs, all of Albemarle; brother, Locke William Kelly, Jr. and wife Maggie of Yorktown, VA; sister, Peggy Howell of Lithia, FL; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Pat was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and cooking. She was a faithful member of Canton Baptist Church.
