Patricia Foutz

Patricia "Pat" Slough Foutz, 80, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.

She was born on November 27, 1940 in Rowan County and was the beloved daughter of the late Odell Thomas Slough and the late Jettie Lucille Smith Slough.  She had one brother, the late Eddie Slough.

Pat is survived by her son, Rick Foutz of Harrisburg; daughter, Patty Herrin of Locust; sisters, Barbara Allmon of Mt. Pleasant and Betty (JC) Scercy of Kannapolis; two grandchildren, Brandon (Tabitha) Foutz of Gold Hill and Ashley Foutz of Locust; seven great-grandchildren; two nieces; and six nephews.

Pat worked most of her life in the grocery business, including A&P, Bi-Lo, as well as Food Lion.  She loved the Lord and was a member of Central UMC, Charlotte.  Pat spoke so fondly of each and every church member.  We know firsthand how much she meant to them as well.

A memorial service in celebration of Pat's life will be held at Central UMC at a later date.
