Patricia Harkey

Patricia Ann Harkey, 75, of Midland, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at her home in Midland.

Mrs. Harkey was born August 26, 1946 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late Wilton Otis Preslar and the late Mattie Ruth Preslar.
She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Andrew Harkey; two brothers, Carol and Wayne Preslar; and sister, Lorain Dassaro.

Patricia was a very special person, she loved everyone "with all her heart and soul", and now we want to tell our mom and maw-maw that we love her with all of our hearts and souls. Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:45 pm, Sunday, November 7, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Midland. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 4:00 pm at officiated by Rev. Tom Gibbs. Burial will follow at the church cemetery at 4720 Garmon Mill Road, Midland.

Survivors include daughters, Susan (Jon Michael) Oliverio of Midland, Sharon Harkey (Richard Hinson) of Midland, Sherry (Stan) Drye of Locust; granddaughters, Tiffany Ann Hunsucker of Midland, Anna-Marie and Lily (Grace) Oliverio of Midland; and grandson, Ronnie Drye of Midland; sister, Rachel Ingram, Elizabeth Aldridge, and Mildred Stegall, all of Union County.

The family wishes to express their most sincere thanks to Community Home Care and Hospice of Indian Trail for the love and support they offered through a very difficult time.
