Patricia Hatley

Trudie Patricia Williams Dodd Hatley, 57 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro. Mrs. Hatley was born October 18, 1954 in Stanly County to Trudie Layuna Weaver Williams of Oakboro and the late Bobbie Neal Williams, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Mitchell Dodd. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2012, at St. Martin Lutheran Church, St. Martin Road, Albemarle, officiated by Rev. Judy Copeland. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at the home of her mother at 20616 Williams Drive, Oakboro. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Daryl Ward Hatley, of the home; her sons, Bryan Dodd and his wife, Sarah, of Albemarle, Jeff Dodd and his wife, Dana of Oakboro, and Chris Dodd of Oakboro; her brother, Neal Williams of Laurel Hill; and her grandchildren, Jackson and Harrison Dodd, and River and Ryder Dodd; niece, Kimberly Heinen; and nephew, Bradley Williams. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Hatley family.
