Patricia Philemon

Patricia Sue Philemon, 65 years of age, of New London, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. Patricia was born June 21, 1948 in Illinois to the late Paul Aaron and Susie Belle Perry Clifton and George Ernest and Lila Garnett Butler. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Shannon Philemon in 2004. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Dale Brooks will be at 12 Noon, Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Euto Baptist Church in Marshville, NC. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery at 6019 Hwy. 205, Marshville. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Boyce H. Philemon of New London; son, Richard Philemon of New Salem; daughter, Tara Hanley of New London; brother, Paul Clifton of WA; sister, Mary Cosand of WA; grandsons, Michael Philemon of WA, Chris Philemon of New Salem; and granddaughter, Bianca Philemon of Asheville.
