Patricia Tenhengel

Patricia Backshall Tenhengel, 72, of West Stanly Street, Stanfield, passed away November 27, 2009, at Stanly Regional Medical Center, Albemarle, NC. Mrs. Tenhengel was born August 31, 1937, in Morristown, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Morgan Tenhengel, Sr., father, Alfred George Backshall, and mother, Ann Margaret Kavanaugh Backshall. Survivors include sons, Timothy Tenhengel of Pineville, David Morgan Tenhengel, Jr. of Stanfield; sisters, Marilyn Slate of New Jersey and Kathy Coddington of Pennsylvania; and granddaughter, Morgan Tenhengel. The family will receive friends at the home of son, David, at 878 West Stanly Street, Stanfield, Monday from 2:00 – 4:00. Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland, is serving the family.
