Patricia Catherine Tomeck

Patricia Catherine Tomeck, 89, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025 surrounded by her family. Born December 10, 1935 in Lake Placid, NY, she was a former resident of Rotterdam, NY and relocated to Charlotte, NC in 2001. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Miller and Nancy Kelly and her brother, Thomas F. Kelly. 

As a mother of three, grandmother of five and great-grandmother of seven, Pat was the heart of our family. Her home was the gathering place for family dinners, holiday celebrations and countless impromptu visits. Pat had a knack for remembering every birthday, anniversary and important date in the lives of her family and friends, never failing to send a card, make a call or send a gift. 

Pat is survived by her sons, Robert J. Tomeck (Kelly) and Mark E. Tomeck (Patty Maple), her daughter, Valerie P. Ostrander (Jeff), her brother, Stephen Kelly (Donna), her five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.

The family will have a celebration of life in May 2025 in Charlotte, NC. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Patricia’s name to the American Cancer Society.
