Patrick Grismer

Patrick Thomas Grismer, 58, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away November 28, 2009 at his home. Mr. Grismer was born in Perham, Minnesota, and was the son of the late John Edgar and Lilly Florence Thompson Grismer. He was also preceded in death by his younger brother Damian Maglore Grismer. He was a Paramedic/EMT, and worked for American Medical Response in Atlanta, Georgia. Survivors are his wife, Rose; sons, Jeremy Phillip Grismer of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Christopher Patrick Grismer of Stanfield, NC; daughter, Jennifer Elaine Grismer of Locust, NC; brothers Michael John Grismer of Cerritos, California, Bruce Grismer of Wingate, NC, and Timothy Paul Grismer of Monroe, NC; sisters Julie Bush of Ft. Ransom, North Dakota and Sara Laurents of Matthews, NC; four grandchildren; and stepdaughters Rachael, Rubiana, and Rosana. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland, Thursday, December 3, 2009, from 12:30 – 2:00. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Roy Barbee. Interment will follow at Stanly Memorial Gardens, Albemarle. Following the interment, the family will receive friends at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Sara and John Laurents, 10933 Idlewild Road, Matthews, NC.
