Patsy Barr

Patsy Jones Barr, 81, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Pat was born January 19, 1942, in Keiser, AR, to the late William Paul Hicks and the late Georgia Pauline Liddell Hicks.  She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Perry Jones; and brother, William "Bud" Hicks; and granddaughter, Samantha.

Pat was a very kind and loving person.  She had a big heart and enjoyed caring for others.  She was the mouth-of-the-South and had a great sense of humor.  Pat was a devoted housewife and dearly loved her dogs.  Most of all, Pat was a loving wife, mom, and Maw Maw.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Cyrus "Mack" Barr, Jr. of the home; daughters, Tytoryia Jones, Lisa Hatley, and Belinda Jones; sons, William Jones and Danny Jones; step-daughter, Kathy Myers; step-son, Bill Barr,  Mike Barr, and Tony Barr; sisters, Peggy Rowlett and Mary Carpenter; brother, Elmer Hicks; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

No services are scheduled at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County.
