Patsy Floyd

Carrie Bell (Patsy) Harward Floyd, 79 years of age, of Norwood, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Floyd was born August 3, 1935 in Stanly County to the late Craven Allen Harward and the late Clara Jane Harward. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Everette Jan Harward.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM - 8:00PM on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church 32283 Bethlehem Church Road, Norwood officiated by Rev Mark Little. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, .

Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Clay Floyd of Norwood, daughter, Robbie and husband Steve Cycotte of Mt Gilead, son, Myrick and wife Jennifer Floyd of Norwood, sister, Clora Dean Curlee, and grandchildren Seth Floyd and Aryn Floyd.

Patsy attended Aquadale High School and Stanly Community College. She worked for Allisons and retired from Bullock Photography. Patsy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years and a lifetime member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and spending time with her family.
