Patsy Howell

Patsy Yvonne Howell, 71, of Charlotte. It is with sad hearts that we announce that on April 9, 2013 Patsy Howell devoted wife, loving mother and friend went home to be with the Lord. Patsy was born October 4, 1941 in Shelby, NC to the late Harold James Owens and the late Mildred Catoe Owens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, April 12, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The funeral service will be at 8:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Ron Hudson. Patsy is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Baxter Howell, Jr. of Charlotte; daughters, Elizabeth Thomas, Debbie Smith and husband Mark; sons, Wayne Howell and wife Pam, Robert Howell and John Howell, III; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Butch Owens and wife Margie, J.D. Owens and wife Carolyn. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your church or to the charity of the donor's choice in Patsy's name. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Howell family.
