Patsy Lambert

Patsy Lou Hatley Lambert, 72, of Albemarle, NC, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011, at the Lutheran Home of Albemarle. Mrs. Lambert was born August 12, 1939, in Stanly County. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, Harold Dean Lambert; father, James Charles Hatley; and mother, Minnie Bell Lambert Hatley. She was a bookkeeper and enjoyed volunteering at Richfield Elementary School. Everyone called her “Nanna Pat”. The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 p.m. Monday, August 22, at Canton Baptist Church of Albemarle. The funeral service will begin at 5 pm in the sanctuary officiated by Rev. Mark Mabry and Rev. Adam Hatley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors include her daughters, Wendy Fink and husband, Jerry, and Susan Hessman and husband, Rick, all of Albemarle; brother, Buddy Hatley of Oakboro; sister, Oleamer Burleson of Albemarle; and grandchildren, Samuel Efird and Sarah Efird.
