Patsy Ross

Patsy (Pat) Ruth Barbee Ross, 82 years of age, of Concord, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.

Pat was born January 2, 1933 in Cabarrus County to the late Reece and Della Barbee.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm, Sunday, August 9, 2015, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 3:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jeff Rushing. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Concord.

Survivors include her loving husband of forty years, Jerry H. Ross of Concord; stepson, Lane Ross and wife, Vanessa of Concord; two granddaughters, Shellie Ross Tyson and husband Bryan, Tracie Ross Towery and husband Eric, both of Concord; and great-grandchildren, Ryan Tyson, Riley Tyson, Nicholas Towery and Kylie Towery.

Pat was a devoted wife and grandmother. She was retired from the Cabarrus County School System and a faithful member of Westford Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Westford Methodist Church, 273 NC Highway #49, Concord, NC 28025.
