Patti Norris

Patti Norris, 55 years of age, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at her home in Midland.

Mrs. Norris was born March 16, 1962 in Mecklenburg County to the late Alton Foster Harris and the late Shirley Ann Harris.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM -8:00PM Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, October 26, 2017 at University Hills Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Coye Still.

Patti was known for her extreme strength, unrelenting compassion, positive attitude, and love of people. She was able to touch so many lives through her involvement in her teaching career, through Fusion Percussion, and North Carolina Odyssey of the Mind. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Norris of Midland; sons, Daniel Norris and wife Tara and Thomas Norris and girlfriend Nicole; brother Douglas Harris; and sisters, Teresa Gulledge, Jill Smith, and Jeanne Gray.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (ADDRESS) and to Fusion Percussion for the Patti Norris Memorial Scholarship Fund (Care of Zeena Upchurch 539 Fallwood Dr. Concord, NC 28025).
