Patty Michelle Deaton, 61 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Deaton was born February 25, 1956 in Stanly County to the late J.D. Gilmore and Alta Gilmore. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Alan Gilmore and grandson, Tanner P. Jernigan.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at Hill Street Church of God, 632 Hill Street, in Albemarle at 6:00 PM.
Survivors include husband, Larry Deaton of Oakboro: sons, Cody Blake (Lesa) Deaton, and Christopher Austin (Carol); daughter, Amanda Jernigan; and mother, Alta Gilmore.
