Patty Poplin

Patty Sue Poplin, 62, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Patty was born December 1, 1957 in Stanly County to the late Martin Christmas "Dick" Poplin, Jr. and Mary Ann Adams Poplin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Jeane Poplin; and brother, Mickey Poplin.

There are no services at this time.

She is survived by her brother, Gary "Doggie" Poplin, Sr. and wife Beverly of Albemarle; sister, Lori Ann Hatley of  Norwood; nephews, Edward Hatley, Tyler Howard, Gary Poplin, Jr.; and niece, April Plowman.

Patty was a loving person who never met a stranger. If you ever met her, you were special to her. She loved her animals and doing puzzles.
